Kids Fun Races:

• Part of the criterium stage of the Tour de Los Alamos.
• Distance: From 20 yards to one (0.6 mile) lap, depending on age
• When: 1 PM Saturday, July 6
• Ages: Ages 3-14. We will group racers by age before the race.
• Start Location: On Central Ave. North of Ashley Pond.
• Prizes/Freebies: All finishers get a medal and all entrants get a free water bottle courtesy of Los Alamos National Bank.
• Helmet: helmet mandatory.
• Release: Riders under 18 must have their release form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
• Entry: $5. Note that the whole $5 is a mandatory fee to the American Cycling Association, mostly for insurance. The Tour de Los Alamos is receiving nothing for the kids races and is losing money to pay for the medals.

Registration

• Pre-entry: send entry fee (payable to Roadrunners Cycling Club) and a completed 2002 ACA Standard Release form to:

• Riders under 18 must have their release form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
• Race day registration (and check in for those that pre-registered) will be open starting at noon on race day near the start/finish line of the race (on Central Ave near Ashley Pond).
